We at OSCA are proud of our history, our successes and yes  sometimes of our failures. We have a wonderful mix of writers, composers and performers in virtually every genre from a raw, just- started writer to published writers and Nashville Staff Writers with many cuts under their belt. Some of our members are lawyers, business owners, music students, teachers, retirees, mothers, musicians, engineers, mechanics, band members, secretaries, dentists and the list goes on! We have no pre-requisites to be a part of OSCA. Just the desire and passion to write, to grow and to be successful.

Artists From Oklahoma

OSCA's News Letter has important articles, member news, upcoming important open-mic s or showcases, seminars and other important information to the writer/composers. Web news will always be up-to-date items. Our OSCA Calendar gives the most current updated scheduled events, meetings and seminars.

OSCA Members can find other writers in their own genre, just listen to some great music, find a co-writer, or another member in your own area. Our members are not just Okie's. We have members in several of the other states, and a few in other countries.

OSCA sponsors two annual song writing contests: One Plus One contest, and the Woody Guthrie
Songwriting Contest. Winners will be posted with their winning song successes.

OSCA members don't all have internet access, but they are just as important as those who do! Please inform any members you know that we are back on the internet and they will continue to receive there News Letters through postal mail.
