Name: Lew Hall
Hometown: Derby, Colorado
Home:
Moore, Oklahoma
Music Genre:
Learned to play guitar following his Dad's infatuation with
the great Jimmie Rodgers of the 1920's and 1930's, and his
oldest brother's interest in the Beatles starting in 1964.
Rock became his obsession in the 70's, until he discovered
the roots of both Country & Rock in the old delta blues
styles of Robert Johnson, Big Joe Williams, Big Bill Broonzy
& Lightnin' Hopkins.
Personal
Interests: Today he attempts finger stylist techniques in
most any genre, including classical, while also entertaining
pop sounds and co-writing a song from time to time. Lew is
not usually seen at live music venues these days, but enjoys
a jam with other musicians from time to time. He is
reportedly recording his entire catalogue of originals,
together with a few of the covers that inspired him.
