TOOLS OF THE TRADE ADDED
We have a new
section on the web site.
Tools of the Trade.
Here you will find education tools to help better your skills in
song writing. If you have anything you would like to add please
submit it to Ann Hardin.
FREE EMAIL ACCOUNTS FOR OSCA MEMBERS
If you have an
e-mail account then you have already been notified about the
newly constructed OSCA web-site! If you do have an e-mail
account and did not receive the information then OSCA does not
have your mail account on file!!!! If you do not have internet
access be sure to keep your address and phone number current
with OSCA (then read below).
As a "member in good standing" you will have some personal
benefits to the web site:
#1 You can have
your own personal OSCA e-mail account on the site and its free
to our members. Your e-mail address would be your name (first
initial and last name) yourname@oklahomasongwriters.com
#2 You can
upload 2 of your songs (in an mp3 format), a photo of yourself
and a brief bio.
For more information regarding your membership, or the new web

The Oklahoma Songwriters Web-site is adding
a page just for the
SONGWRITER OF THE MONTH.
On that page will feature:
1) The winning lyrics of your song scrolling for viewers
2) Your song automatically playing when the web page comes up.
3) Slide show of up to 6 photos(s) from the featured songwriter
4) A bio with more extensive information about the songwriter
(than what is posted on our members pages for free) and what
inspired them to write the song being featured.
5) Your own personal space on OSCA web site for the month to
spotlight and sell your recordings if desired.

PERSONAL
PROMOTIONAL PAGES
Our web
designer is offering "Personal Promotional Pages" for all OSCA
Members. If you have a CD or appearance, etc. to promote a one
time charge of $25 (payable directly to our web designer, not
through OSCA) will give you your own personal web page attached
to your Members section on OSCA web site.

Festival Songwriting Competition

The
WG Song Contest entries have ended and the judges are now
determining the best song for this year. Don’t forget the
3-day OSCA sponsored Open Mic at Lou’s Rocky Road Tavern. OSCA
member Bob Dupree , (Event organizer), will be there to sign
you up. Come early and stay late! Great Performers and great
