RAY RECTOR

 

O.S.C.A. member RAY RECTOR has had two of his songs Recorded on a debut album (CD) by Recording Artist Danny Davis, Nashville, TN.  Danny is a regular stage band performer with the Grand Ole’ Opry Stage Band. The CD, titled  “Double D”,  became available on September 30, 2006.

The two songs on the CD  written by RAY RECTOR are, “Tomorrow Cheating On Me” which, by the way,  has been chosen to be the first single off the CD and is being nationally promoted.  The second song of Ray’s recorded by Danny is and “My Baby Gives Her Lovin’ “ (Probably To No One Else But Me)”.

The second song chosen to be nationally promoted as a single is “You Live In My Heart“ is by Oklahoma Songwriter/Publisher, Walt Wilder .  Other noted Oklahoma Songwriters show-cased in Danny’s 10-song album titled “Double D” include Gene Crysler, Sherman Crysler,  Joe Ivie,  Cliff Blunt, and Donnie East.  Billy Robins from Tennessee also contributed a song for this CD.

The CD was produced by Walt Wilder,  president of CMM Records,  Oklahoma City, OK.  The CD was recorded at Hilltop Recording Studio, Nashville, TN and can be purchased on-line at www.burnlounge.com/countrymusic .

Danny Davis began performing at the Opry at the age of 5 yrs, and is a very talented professional musician who has played behind artists such as Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Randy Travis, Vince Gill and many more.

Radio stations who have interviewed Danny and played “Tomorrow Cheating on Me” said that the phone lines into the stations are getting swamped with requests to “play it again”.
